July 2009

Pat and Timmy have had a quiet month. They enjoyed the fireworks at Gratis and could not believe the crowd or the entertainment!
Dot and Jerry have been doing good. Autumn and Quik had birthday parties that were a lot of fun. Butch and Shelia had to take Wes to the hospital. He has pneumonia.
Tom and Linda hosted a fourth of July party. They also had Dena a 40th birthday celebration. Both were lots of fun!
Nancy and Larry are still in the RV and have not began building their new house. They are going to be vacationing in Branson this month. Carmel and Suzy will be returning to Georgia this month. Jennifer and Drew are adjusting well to their new bundle of joy. Emma is too.
Bo and Joann have been doing well. Bo, Mary, and Cletis went to Guyana. Joann and her mother house-sat and dog-sat for Mary and Cletis. Vicky baby-sat for Rebecca for three weeks and had a ball. They did many things together and one of those weeks Suzy's kids came. She has also been finishing up a class for her Masters degree and will be starting another one soon.
Bim and Donna have had a good summer. The kids all attended VBS and had a great time.
Beth and Gordon have been staying busy with gardening, goat farming, and yardworkJosh continues at Petland in Montgomery. Kyla is now tenured and will return to teach English at a magnet school in Montgomery in August. Maribeth is in Atlanta waiting to hear about a teaching job. Meanwhile, she cares for two children in their home and is connecting with an outreach ministry in the downtown area. Parker has been back home for the summer taking online classes and working at a nearby cattle farm before returning to Auburn for fall semester. Gordon will soon begin his 30th year with Alfa Insurance. Beth is enjoying the last bit of summer break before returning to teach at ACA in August. All of the Wards enjoyed the summer reunion at Pine Mountain and look forward to hosting the holiday reunion at their house the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
